9 Mukhi Rudraksha

The 9 Mukhi Rudraksha is one of the most powerfully protective beads in the entire Rudraksha system. Governed by Maa Durga — the supreme goddess of power, courage, and divine protection — this bead carries the combined blessings of Nav Durga, the nine sacred forms of the goddess. Each of the nine mukhis (faces) on the bead represents one of these divine forms: Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidatri.

 How to Wear

•     Thread the bead on a red or black silk/wool thread, or set in silver or Panchdhatu as a pendant.
•     Wear on Monday or Tuesday morning after bathing, preferably during the first two hours after sunrise.
•     Before wearing, place the bead in a clean bowl of raw milk, honey, and Gangajal overnight. Rinse and offer to Lord Shiva or Maa Durga in your prayer space.
•     Chant the mantra ‘Om Hreem Hum Namah’ 108 times while holding the bead in joined palms.
